Ringing the changes
Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline (HDAH) is a free support and signposting service for anyone affected by domestic abuse. For the past few years, we have worked closely with the charity to apply a consistent brand image to its printed communications in an effort to build better recognition of its service and to encourage new volunteers to get involved. While much of our work has successfully targeted females and the elderly, our ‘1 in 6’ campaign focused attention on male victim-survivors and ‘rainbow eye’ helped raise awareness among LGBTQ+ people. Most recently, we designed the charity’s 20th anniversary logo and ‘Tea & Cake for HDAH’, a print and social marketing campaign aimed at increasing the charity’s fundraising efforts in local communities.
