Shaking up the high street

You have to go a very long way to find a better milkshake than those made at Shaken Cow. From humble beginnings, the business has become a go-to destination for families, teenagers, students and young adults. With ambitions over the next few years to open ‘express’ kiosks, move into franchising and launch a range of own-brand products, Shaken Cow needed to significantly improve its retail presentation and create the flexibility to adapt to new market opportunities.

Rising to the challenge, our first step was to bin the haphazard way the business was handling its design and marketing. In its place, we introduced a finely-tuned brand strategy to target different audiences; a much-improved menu of drinks and seasonal based products; exciting customer promotions focused around monthly activities and specific events; and inviting shop interiors, all served-up with a fresh identity and a tone of voice bubbling with personality, fun and charm.

Since rebranding, the great news is that the business has gone from strength to strength. It’s opened two new shops, now employs 25 staff and is making over 5,000 milkshakes a week!
