More than skin deep
With nature at its heart, Urban Veda is a skincare brand developed around Ayurvedic principles – the ancient Indian health and wellbeing system based on the holistic and therapeutic properties of plants. We were tasked with creating a packaging identity that would capture the essence of the brand and challenge consumers to buy into its holistic benefits for mind, body and soul. Inspired by the idea of a ‘garden of natural delights’, our plant silhouettes convey the brand’s purity and botanical ingredients. Combining them with a distinctive hand drawn logo, contemporary colour palette, simple typography and an engaging brand language, we reinforced Urban Veda’s benefits for different skin types. And by paying close attention to the packaging print using tactile varnishes and embossed metallic foils, we made sure the brand’s premium values really stood out.
